Cornwallis Mackenzie signs investment and business development agreement with MobiVentures

Cornwallis Mackenzie signs investment and business development agreement with MobiVentures The Chief Executive Officer of Cornwallis Mackenzie Business Development Inc. (“Cornwallis Mackenzie”), Mr. Langan, announced this morning that the corporation had recently completed negotiations with MobiVentures Inc’ senior management that will see a multi year investment programme designed to provide working capital for Move2Mobile Limited, MobiVentures’ business incubation subsidiary, whilst simultaneously providing business development services to both Move2Mobile and their clients.
While the details of the agreement are confidential; the agreement will see Cornwallis Mackenzie inject investment capital into MobiVentures’ for the sole purpose of increasing Move2Mobile’s shareholdings in their existing portfolio of companies and for investing in new opportunities. This new investment will be used alongside a range of UK and European government grants to provide seed capital to businesses in the wireless technology sector.
The agreement further allows Cornwallis Mackenzie to provide business development and research services to both Move2Mobile and their portfolio companies..
Mr. Danny Wootton, Director of Move2Mobile Limited commented yesterday “We are excited to have attracted Cornwallis Mackenzie as an investor on a project by project basis and as our business development partner. This partnership allows Move2Mobile to increase our portfolio whilst allowing us to provide a range of strong business development services”.
